It Is Very Important That You Take The Extra Effort And Spend a Little More On Your Disc Jockey To Ensure Your Disc Jockey Is Professional and Capable of Handling All Of The Different Phases Of Your Event For The Venues Will Not Assist In Any Part Of What Is Described Above.
Q. I Have My Disc Jockey or Vendor Booked from X – Y.
A. You Should Be Aware Of The Time You Have Your Venue Booked And Make Sure You Notify Your Contact Person That You Disc Jockey Will Be Arriving 1 – 1 ½ Hours Ahead Of Your Start Time. If your Disc Jockey Is Unable To Gain Access To The Room Due To The Venue Having A Function In The Room Prior To Yours There May Be A Conflict Of Starting Times.
Q. Should I Tip My Vendors?
A. If you feel your vendor did a great job and helped make your Event a Success then yes you should compensate he/she for there service well done. An Appropriate Amount is 10 – 15 % of Your Total Bill For There Service.
Q. If I Make A Change In Any Part Of The Event (Including Ceremony) Who Should I Notify?
A. You Should Notify Not Only The Venue But All Of Your Vendors Due To The Fact That To You IT May Be A Small Change And Not A Big Deal, But In The End IT Very May Well Affect How One Or All Of Your Vendors Perform There Part Of Your Event
Q. Should I Provide A Meal For My Vendors?
A. It Is In Good Faith To Provide At least what Is Called A Vendor Meal (Not Available At All Venues) Then A Regular Meal Should Be Therefore Provided For All Of Your Vendors Involved In Your Event As Most Of Them Put In A Long Day To Help Make Your Day A Success. And Everyone Works and Feels Better On A Full Stomach. As Well AS Soft Drinks or Water.
Q. Should My Disc Jockey Be Drinking Alcohol During My Event.
A. Absolutely NOT. A Professional Disc Jockey Never Consumes Alcohol While Performing At Any Event. He/She Is Not There To Socialize With Your Guest and Party With You Beyond The Point Of His/Her Capacity Not Only Is It Not Professional But It Takes Away From He/She To Do A Great Job For You.
